I began my career in financial services in 2017 working in Defined Benefit (DB) Pensions, where I gained an invaluable understanding of the pensions landscape. After years of dedicated work in this technically specialised area, I carried out a spell working within a Restricted Financial Adviser firm but quickly realised this was not the right environment for me and moved to Ellis Bates an Independent Financial Adviser in 2022.

As a financial adviser, I take great pride in helping clients achieve their financial goals with tailored strategies and expert guidance across the whole of the market. With a passion for finance and a commitment to my client, I work with you to ensure your financial plan is customised to meet your unique needs and aspirations in your retirement. One of my most rewarding experiences has been helping my own parents plan their retirement, a process that deepened my commitment to ensuring that all my clients can understand and navigate their retirement with confidence and clarity. I bring this same level of dedication and personalised service to all my clients to help them turn their financial dreams into reality.

I use sophisticated cashflow modelling software so we can in real-time take stock of your accrued planning to date, forecast future returns, and build a number of life and market events that are important to you. This will provide clarity as to whether your objectives are achievable through easy-to-understand visual aids.

My approach to advising is built on trust, integrity and a genuine desire to see my clients thrive in their financial planning, be this portfolio investing, pension management, retirement forecasting or estate and inheritance planning.

I work alongside the Equity Release, Protection and Wills and Trusts teams to offer you expert financial solutions and services, from starting your investment or pensions strategy journeys right up to protecting your family’s inheritance in later life – and everything in between.

I also work closely with our in-house independent Investment Team, who research, analyse and offer first class multi faceted investment propositions, with an extensive range of strategies to suit all risk appetites.

Outside of the office, I’m an avid sports enthusiast and enjoy keeping active, especially when there’s a challenge involved. I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in December 2019 and in July 2021 I cycled Lands End to John O’Groats raising c.£5,000 for Cancer Research UK.

I also have a passion for travel, experiencing different cultures and perspectives and have travelled across South East Asia and lived in Australia for 2 years and thoroughly enjoyed connecting with people from all walks of life.
